Svetlana Kouzmova, Registered Tax Preparer and a certified professional bookkeeper, is the Company’s CFO/Director of Operations. She has more than 35 years’ experience, providing a full range of accounting services from basic bookkeeping to income tax preparation.
She began her successful career in the Ukraine, where she received a university degree in economics. Later she advanced to a senior position in the financial and planning department of major company in her home town of Lviv, Ukraine. In the United States, she worked in various capacities for H&R Block and several CPA firms from 1994 until the year 2000. In 2000, she founded AS&K Bookkeeping. In 2016, she merged her company with ASK Business Solutions LLC, which she founded with Taras Kuzmov as a vested partner. She markets her services to Polish, Russian, Ukrainian as well as English speaking clients.
Other nationalities that she has as clients are: Armenian, Greek, Spanish, Georgian, Mongolian, Belarusian, Turkish, Serbian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Latvian, Pakistani, and Israeli.
Taras Kuzmov, Partner, is the Company’s Executive Director of Business Development and Marketing. Taras is also from the Ukraine, where he received university degree at Lviv National University. He has over 20 years experience in operations, including financial management, and business planning/development of various projects. His experience ranged from the health and environment to education and human rights. He is highly skilled in communications and web-based community projects, having designed numerous public awareness campaigns.
Taras has worked in Ukraine, Poland, United Kingdom, Hungary, Belgium, Portugal, Cyprus, Algiers, Israel, Palestine and others. His partial list of clients includes The Thomson Foundation (United Kingdom), ‘UN Family’ organizations: UNICEF, WHO (World Health Organization), UNDP (United Nations Development Program), Internews network (US), Public Radio Foundation (Ukraine). He also owns a small TV production company in the Ukraine, “42 media.”
In 2016, he joined Svetlana Kouzmova to found ASK Business Solutions, LLC, bringing his operations, business planning and marketing expertise to provide support for AS&K Bookkeeping growing needs.
With Ukrainian as his native language, he speaks fluent English, Russian and Polish. He has done business with those types of clients. He also has a reading command of French and German.
